            A std 10g tank is 20 x 10 x 12.5 tall

You need to look for a 20g tall (24x12x16) then you can use the 24" light.

I guess I'll just wait until next year's black friday and hope that they have the same deals and have a 20 gallon tank by then or something. Thanks Zulaab!

But that light fixture has "Sliding aquarium mounts adjust easily to ensure a proper fit for your aquarium." <--- From the product description.

Have you had any experience with fixtures like this imagirlgeek? Do you know if the lights for the fixture is easy to find and replace? I really want to get it but only if it will fit my tank and will put out the right light output for my tank.

I don't have any Current fixtures, but I have a Coralife 24" fixture that has the legs like this. I don't think that 48 watts would be too much for a 10 gallon...maybe someone can back me up on this? I have 130 watts on a 20 gallon, but I have a few small plants in that tank. Oh, and the bulbs shouldn't be hard to find at all.

Thank you so much imagirlgeek! :) I think I will buy this.

With your Coralife, were you able to adjust the legs?

Yeah the feet do slide on the model. You will have 2" of overhang on both sides but yes it will fit on the tank, you just have to slide the feet -- If you decide to upgrade the tank later then you will already have the light fixture for it as you will just have to slide the feet.

I have the Nova Extreme T5 unit... I love it.

Coralife uses feet which attaches outside of the unit. Current USA Nova have grooves which the feet slide on the bottom of the unit.
