  • I'm a new mommy.......help!!!

Came home from the grocery store and look what I found!

There's 3 of these little guys in there. I have no idea how old they are or what I should do to make sure they make it.

Along with mommy and daddy ABN there's cardinals, rummy nose, zebra loaches and julii catfish.

Baby ABN's....just through a wafer in(crumble it up first)...and the parents and the babies will be fine...the babies can get to alot more spots to find food then the adults can...Congrats though...I am sure you will prolly find more then the 3 in days to come...they look about 4-7 days old.

Thanks! The parents are the long-finned ABN. Does this mean the babies will also be the long-finned variety?

          Awesome! Congratulations!
Trogdor was a man. Or maybe he was a dragon man. Or maybe he was just a dragon. But he was still TROGDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOR!

You know, fish are great. I love my fish. But what I really want is a monkey.

I never intended to breed them. They don't even have a cave, but apparently they had other ideas I hope the little guys make it. They are so cute!

Absolutely, if they survive you're welcome to one though you'll have to sex them LOLOLOLOL. Until they are big I can't tell the difference.

We've now found 6 of them and I'm wondering what to do about water changes. I've always done about a 75% water change once a week with this tank, but these little guys seem to be sticking to the very top of the tank. I'm worried if I start draining the water they won't have the sense to move lower.

They will move...and if you get one that is just being stubborn, just take your finger and give em a little push...they get the point.

I agree with lilmissruffcountry... they get the point quick....
If they hang for a while.. they will suddenly give up and down the tank side they go into the water again. I have had one sit for like 30 seconds and suddenly he/she decided sitting out of the water wasnt cool and down he went.. obviously unhappy with my water change schedule.. hehe Keep the water schedule going.. I couldnt get to mine since he/she was on the back side of the tank and I wasnt about to break down the whole tank tops just to move him/her.
