  • Snail ID pls.

I found three baby snails on the glass of my aquarium. They look like mystery snails to me but I need help confirming. Sorry but I hope the picture is clear enough. Thanks.

Do you have adult mystery snails in that tank?

I really can't tell from the picture. But it looks like you got the glass in focus directly to the left of the snail - any way you could back up the camera a bit and get the snail more in focus? That would really help.

No adult mystery snails in the tank. I'l try to get a better pic. I can't say they were moving too fast for the camera.

Google image results show they probably are pond snail babies. Should I just leave them alone? Or destroy them??!!

So should I not worry about it right now?

either squish all you find..or collect them in a jar and give them to someone with a puffer.

Speaking of which, I just found that a bunch of the little ******** had killed and were eating two of my white clouds - one of them a gold.

I put those little jerks in my dwarf puffer tank. Eenie and Meenie will exact a terrible vengeance!

Get rid of em... otherwise they may take over your tank...

I've seen three so far. They will be destroyed.

Mine will be gone before long. I think my dwarf puffers have pig in their lineage. I had to remove the rest of the snails before I would have to send the girls to Weight Watchers, Aquatic Division.
