They have 30ft spa/pool flex hose at Lowes outside in the garden area in the pool supply isle for around $35. I believe its 1.5" diameter. Its prepackaged but cheaper than the stuff on the roll inside the store.

not the same stuff we're talking about. spa flex or flexible pvc can handle the back pressure that vacuum pool hose will not.
