Modifying my pond/stream; got 2 baby koi (3" and 5")out of a 110 gal tub in my stream. I put them in a half full bucket with floating plants and floated them in a 55 in the green house. Came back 2 or 3 hr later and no fish in the bucket. I found the large one pretty dried out , I rinsed the debris off of him and a gill twitched. He did the backstroke for 2 days ,but his gills were working. The 3rd day he started swiming . Never did find the smaller one.
On the other hand; I saw a 2.5' green water snake . He looked like he was full of zebra danios. I will get the grandsons to help get him. I don't kill copperheads , but the water snakes have to go to save the fish. Who here doesen't prefer fish to snakes ?
