  • Sea Center Texas Tour

Hey guys! Want to know what month would be good for the GHAC tour of Sea Center Texas in Lake Jackson. We have the Houston Zoo Aquarium tour in November so give me an idea what month you would like before I start sending some emails and making phone calls. On this tour, we can have up to 75 people and there are activities for the kids. Here's the link of what to expect:

    Thanks.

Yeah, our Texas bone-chilling 60 degree winters. )

Most of the tour is indoors. I do think October is too soon to organize, but lets see what everyone else thinks.

Is children's age an issue for this tour?

Looks like they have "story time" that can be arranged for the little ones while the rest are on the tour.

            Can I bring a flask?
I ate my fish that died.

No honestly, can I bring a flask?

On another issue, can we go on a brackish fish collection trip in Freeport? this is what you had planed in another thread.

                When is crabbing season?

OMG, I love blue crab! We can end the meet with a crab boil.

It's up there with crawfish for me.

Last time I went to Freeport we didn't catch that much. I don't really know the right spots.

Yes you may, as a Brazosport area resident I can assure you drunks are always welcome! Sea Center is basically down the street from me. Freeport is where I work so If you are interested in crabbing or collecting fish I can help you out with out. Let me know and I will talk to some of my experienced fishing friends for some good spots. Plus I can point out where and where not to eat when down this way

This seems like a fun idea...never been to the Sea Center...or brackish collecting...I want to go! I have a crab pot...like one of those $60 heavy duty ones...not the little nets...I can bring it with if the season is open..
