I picked up a half dozen Opaline (blue) Gourami at the GHAC (thanks Nick) auction and they were looking so good that I put the darkest male and female in a half full 10g tank with a couple of IAL floating on the surface.
Today they have a huge bubble nest under one of the IAL.
They spawn just like bettas only the eggs float so I can remove both parents and I won;t have to jar all the little males.

'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'

I didn't know they spawned like bettas.
Fish are people too, they just have gills.

I have a 10g tank full but the largest is only 3/8" at the present time.
I'm sure I'll have a bunch at the next HAS auction.
