My LFS is selling a white sturgeon. about 4 inches long
what do they plan on doing with this when it gets bigger
can you even keep this in aquariums?
ONe. they get huge.
Two. aren't they endangered?
Or is that just the beluga or something

yeah Ive seen them in other shops.....like this little shop in kemah....I dont know if its open now but they had allot cool stuff..

they are also a cold water species, they need to be kept in water ~50-60 degrees F.
so a large chiller is needed to house them.

Stuff like this makes me so angry.

The Shovelnose Sturgeon is threatened. Not sure about the White Sturgeon. Probably. But whatever the case, I highly doubt they can legally offer it for sale.

Ahem: If it's truly a White Sturgeon, google it and you'll see it gets to be a tiny bit over 20 FEET in length.

He's in Oklahoma. I know their restricted species list isn't as long as ours.
