      very nice... are red texas a color strain or a hybrid?
      65 gallon - ADA 120p - planted
      55 gallon - AGA standard - mix cichlid
      30 gallon tall - eclipse acrylic - semi-planted

        They are a hybrid, but from what I have read the is a color morph of one of the many fish known as texas cichlid that is known as red but its pretty drab compared to the flowerhorn strain.

        If you don't mind me asking where did you get this beauty?

            looks like someone crossed a caprintes with a midas. I've read different accounts about how they are bread though. it takes quite a few generations of trying to get a specimin that nice though.

                very nice... what u feeding him??? supplement with alife or grand sumo red, heck even hikari bio gold-the red bag and his color will pop... thanks for sharing flowerhorn brother!
