  • My latest addiction - 25G Reef

So I wanted to show everyone my 25g saltwater nano. i built the stand and assembled the refugium out of a 10g tank and some acrylic sheets from Home Depot.

    koralia 3 and koralia 1
    berlin air lift skimmer
    corallife 150w metal halide

I just switched everything over from my 5.5g so its still a little empty for now... more pics if ya want to look ... http://s337.photobucket.com/albums/n383/mikeb1409/salt/

I bought it from a marsh member who bought it from another marsh member who had it custom made. probably glasscages Ek knows the person I bought it from so thats probably it. only thing I don't like is that ugly overflow box i'm gonna have to cover it up some how . I was thinking GSP or stacking rocks.

Is that an external or internal overflow, can't tell from the pics?

Looking good though especially the open aquascape not to cluttered.

wow.. i didn't think that you could fit that much into a 10 gal sump!

I see you have a berlin airlift skimmer.. how's that working out for you? I'm thinking of getting one for my pico.

It took a little bit of planning to fit it all in there and the refugium part of the sump is a little smaller than i wanted it but working great and the macro is growing like crazy.so far so good on the skimmer although i have a powerful air pump hooked up to it (azoo 9500) . from reading other reviews on my skimmer i understand that it is a must to have a powerful air pump to produce good skimmate.
