  • could i drink this?

so I just emptied my DIY co2 2liter bottle...WOW! the alcohol stinch...reminds me of last night...lol
but I got to thinking... what if I put some kool-aid..., dilute it, would it taste good? For obious reasons, I don't want to try it myself, but was wondering if anyone has found any use for the "byproduct" of their 2 liter liquid.

No, it's not tasteful and will make you gag before it makes you drunk....

It depends on what you put in it to start with.

Try making the next batch with honey and wine yeast.
'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'

What are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue.

You would need to filter it first. That would be awesome to brew beer and run the carbon into a planted tank. I know what your thinking and you could drink that stuff but I doubt you would be able to stomach it for more than a minute or two.

You heat the solution in a closed container-- with a outlet into a cold section. Clear liquid will drip out of the cold section , catch this in a bottle or other container. When you have reduced the original volume by about 10 to 20 % , discard the remaining material.
The stuff in the bottle is "white lightening" or vodka. It will not age in glass ; I believe it is too much trouble to put it in charred oak barrel to make it into whiskey.

**You have to heat the solution to the boiling point of alcohol.

for those of you who don't want to build a still, You can put the liquid in a plastic milk jug. Place the jug in the freezer and say the magic words.
                      can you say "ANTI-FREEZ"
the water and dregs will freeze but the alcohol will not.
freezing mash does not require a permit and it's not illegal.
