  • fin recovery

I'm sure there's plenty of posts about this already but I'm in a bit of a hurry; what's the best method for fin recovery on a fish that has been attacked by another fish, and has one of his fins kind of torn up, causing him to swim sideways at times? what types of formulas or methods are recommended?

Correct me if I'm wrong: Melafix/Pimafix combo? And remove him from the attacker.

      +1.

I've used stress coat in the past. At least one of melafix/pimafix has aloe in it as well.
      Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

          #1 - hospital tank
#2 - clean water / frequent water changes
#3 - the best antibiotic you can get your hands on.
          kanamycin / tetracyclin / Ampicillin
          #4 - Jungle fungus eliminator
and if you have an open wound, iodine.

All of which should be in your fishbox firstaid kit.

'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'
