    Re: cat fight

Generally females get along well together.
Those raised together have established a pecking order and
there are so many in the tank that one hardly ever gets singled out.
However when you add new fish to a tank....
they tend to want to establish a new pecking order so it's best to provide room for the looser to run & hide.
'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'

It shouldn't. Most female bettas are know to live well together, but since they where in a 1/2 gallon tank they may have goten stresed.
Fish are people too, they just have gills.
