Pond heater? please help

I have converted a 600+ gallon Poly Tank into a pond.
now that it is getting cold i need some help with a heater.

All the heaters i found have a built in thermostat that only works in near freezing water.
any suggestions.

I would say it would have no problems heating a 2000 gallon well filtered system (but in honesty) what I have seen most pond owners will do is put a cover over their pond during the winter and then add a heater at the deepest part of it.  From there the little heat it generates in a massive pond system is enough that their pond fish will survive all winter long.
