Color of RCS eggs?

so my RCS at work are finally starting to get berried.  I've got 2 berried right now.

One of the berried ones eggs are yellow, the other has green eggs.

does this mean one has fertilized eggs and one doesnt, or something like that?

with my crayfish, the yellow are unfertilized and the darker are fertilized.  I honestly never studied the eggs of my shrimp...the babies just appear lol.

Doesn't matter....if they are there they are fertilized.

I've been waiting for mine to get berried for a few months... so I watch em closely... and theyre right next to me at work all day long...

I do notice that some of their saddles are differently colored, yellow and green...

Yeah.. the colors of RCS are can be berry different.
Doesn't necessarily mean that it is unfertilized.

yellow, green, brown. Dunno why though...  Berry interesting nonetheless.

so how long do the shrimp stay berried before the eggs hatch and I have little shrimplets swimming around?

You will probably not see anything for a week or two after she is no longer berried.

Gestation is usually 3-4 weeks.
