    I just tested our tap water and it measured 10ppm Nitrates.

    Ammonia and Nitrites were 0.

    Just lettin' you all know.

      Cypress water has tested ok .... Did two water changes testing the tap first while the power was out.

        Good idea to expand this MateFrio!  I'll change the title to something more broad and maybe other's can post what their water readings are around the cities.

          I was worried about this and made sure to do water changes in all the tanks the day of the storm.  We do have water and its on well  but the clorine levels are thru the roof now  must be adding a whole lot more in or something because they normally are pretty much 0.00
          There is no "normal" life, it's just life so get on with it.

            Meyerland water readings from yesterday...

            Ammonia - 10ppm
            Nitrite - 0
            Nitrate - 0
            Chlorine - 0

              Got normal readings.....did get a bit of copper readings but think that's probably a fluke.

              Using the carbon filter at a much slower rate then usual just in case.

                  water test at SE houston is okay but the sad thing is my 100 gal fish tank (the glass on the bottom) collapsed while i at work. Most of the fishes died from it :(.
                  I have no idea how the bottom glass broke. sniffsss
