  • Angel breeding- lazy style(or natural).

I couldn't stand it any more ; I had to do something after about 25 batches of young reached free swimming (this spring and summer) and 3 fish survived ( about 10 fish-3 pairs in a 125). The present batch went free swimming about Friday, Sunday I caught the other 7? adults in a planted 125- you can sort of visualize the turmoil. The parents hung in there, I guess there are still a hundred fry. I now go to my feeding plan- powdered flake + boiled egg yoke. I should have fish for the next? auction.
Meanwhile a question ;The 10 angels in the 125 produced a spawn about every week; 12 of their sibling angels in a 75 spawned once . The water, light and food are the same. The only difference I can find is that the 75 averages about 81F ,while the 125 averages about 84F. Do you think 3F is enough to make a profoud difference in breeding ?
