Submit a photo for the 2009 GHAC Calendar!

Sorry it has taken so long to get this going, but I've FINALLY got an upload form on the GHAC website for you to upload your photos for the calendar.

I've posted information about what is necessary for the picture to be able to be used, but if you are unsure, just send it on through and I'll take a look at it for sizing and such.

So, get those pics to me!

My cameera resolution doesn't go quite that high but I'll see what I can do.

Send it anyway.  We still don't know for sure how the formatting will be, so it's possible we may use smaller files as well as larger files.  :)

Okay, the upload script is now working!  However, there is a 1mb limit on file size.  If you try and send your pic and you get prompted for userid and password, just cancel and email it to me at traci.davis@myghac.org.

Come on everyone!  Get those fish pics to me!

Just tried to submit a photo, but I don't think it worked. I failed to notice that last post, about the 1MB limit...I'll resize and try again.

yep.  I've been working on that 1Mb limit, and I just fixed it.  Post away.  

For now, the form is working, but the redirect when you hit 'Submit' just takes you to a blank screen.  Bear with me while I finish it up, but wanted to go ahead and get the functional part out there.  Any files you upload will be sent to me, even if you see the blank screen.  No worries.

MB - Please resubmit your pics.

By the way, the pics I've received so far are posted in the GHAC forum.  No voting yet, but please view them when you can.

For the photos...is it alright if we edit them to look their best? Or is it best to leave them as they are? Let me know!

It's great to edit them to look their best as long as they don't start to look unnatural.  I've seen some photos that are so Photoshop'ed that they almost look cartoon-ish.  You know what I mean?

But to improve upon them is definitely welcomed.  :)

Awesome! I'll submit some, usually just try to enhance it to the best of its ability. Let me know if they look overdone.
