  • Koi angels breeding

Soni's Koi angels have free swimming fry. This is the farthest that their spawning has gone. All other times they eat all the eggs before they hatch. Last week they have about a dozen fry on a leaf before eating them. And finally there are about 50 - 100 fry swimming at the top being guarded by the parents.

She has two zebra angels and one black angels. Blue & black neon tetras and a school of rummy noses. Well I think I spoke to soon because this morning I turned on the lights and there is about a dozen free swimming. The babies are swimming around and the parents are having a tough time keeping them close by

              Re: Koi angels breeding

its probably impossible to raise fry in a community setting unless a tank is (1) very large (2) does not have too many fish (3) and heavily planted/driftwooded to the point were there are numerous small hiding spots for fry's once they are a little better at swimming (which most of these are not)
