Let me just start off by saying holey cow batman. Two of my tanks have holey rock in them and the have had a staedy buildup or brown algae on them including the glass.
I have normal plecos in one of the tanks and needed something to really do some work. I was at Ultimate looking for a small giraffe cat and decided I would pick up a bristlenose pleco on Alex's recomendation. When I got home and put them in, they went right to work.
I woke up this morning and the holey rock in one tank is almost spotless. The second is about the same. Never dreamed it would be like that. I guess it takes the right fish for the job.
Now I can sit back and watch these guys work for once instead of me.
