I'm going to try to make this one too.  Last one was fun and I even came home with a nice pair of Killies.

The website is nice.  Nick, are you going to the show in Dallas?

I'm hoping to make it out to this meeting.  I've been on the mailing list for a while.  I don't own any killifish and may not for a while, but I'm interested in learning more about them.  Hopefully I'll be able to enjoy caring for these fish someday, but for now, I'll be happy seeing some up close in someone else's care.

        Everyone,

This is a bump for the Killifish meeting.  I went to the last one and really enjoyed myself.  I would recommend going,  Killifish are really neat and don't require alot of tank space.  I plan to attend, lets go and have some fun.

Many types can be kept in critter containers or those 1-3 gallon desktop aquaria with nothing more than a small sponge filter.

I had originally planned to get into killifish as a solution for something to do with my 1.5 gallon hex desktop aquarium, but I really wanted a breeding pair, and the thought of doing everything in such a small tank seemed ill advised.  That said, I have a 10 gal in my closet that's dying to be set up....

There are killies that you can get for both your 1.5 g and your 10 g aquaria :)

Hopefully I'll be able to make the meeting and can learn a bit more about the wonderful world of killies.

I hope so too. Would like to see some new faces, as well as the regulars today :) .
Don't forget to bring a donated item for the mini-auction. It does NOT HAVE to be killifish related. General aquarium/pond supplies, food, filter media, etc. are welcome. Also, we have had non-killifish fish at the meetings for the auction: goodieds, goldfish, angelfish, native shiners, etc. All are welcome! :)
                    See you there!
