don't know what to get!

i want to get some type of invert (shrimp/lobster/crab or something in that family - i know broad) for my mixed african (and SA) cichlid tank, what will be compatible with the following residents in my 55gal?

4 yellow labs
3 red zebras
1 jewel
2 firemouths
2 convicts

1800Seahorse has these big nasty looking malaysian shrimps...also have some other weird looking cray.

so does that mean, nobody here succeeded?  if not, i don't want to reinvent the wheel, i am much less experienced compared to most here, so i doubt i will succeed if others have not, how about crabs???
