    Check your water quality.
How do you do water changing.
    How long you had them.
Were did you get them from.
What kind of filteration you have.

You have to tell us alot more.

i have a eheim 2213 canister filter with ehfisubstrat pro/bioglass/diamond blend carbon mixture as filter media the chemicals are all 0 the water is at 6.8 at 82 degrees i have an undergravel filter hooked up to a 160gph power head the tank is fairly new maybe a couple weeks old but i syphoned bacteria from the gravel bed in my 100gallon to help with the bacteria spread i have had the discus for about a week and the rams for a couple of days

When discus are hiding something is wrong.
If you gotten the discus that were in a higher PH they are under stress due to lowing the PH.
82 degrees is a little low for discus.

When you say siphoned bacteria what exactly do you mean?
How long did you let the tank cycled?
Have you done any water changing since you had the tank & if you did did you do anything to the water you added?
How did you acculamate the discus to your tank?

          I think he meant "acclimate"

          Are they eating well?
Are they showing signs of stress? i.e clamped fins, dark colors?

I suspect that either you are not done cycling or the mulm that you transfered from the other tank might have thrown off your nitrogen cycle by overloading.

What are your Ammonia, NitrIte and NitrAte concentrations?

              Re: discus acting weird

the ph was 7.2 at the store and i started it out here at that then let the driftwood do its thingafter a few days it got down to 6.6 i have had the tank set up for two weeks i syphoned water from the gravel in my 100 gallon tank to the new tank to get the bacteria going i had a feeling they might be stressed but they havent lost their colors the all look as they did in the store as for acclimation i let the bag float on top of the water for 10 minutesthen i opened the bag and let some of the water in the tank into the back and let it float for a 5 minutes befor i put the discus in the tank

                      is the tank fully cycled?
And what kind of discus do you have? Domestics or wilds? Water parameters and treatment difer between the two.

                          Re: discus acting weird

Rule # 1 NEVER put water from another tank in to your tank.

Do they come out to eat. Try to find some live blood worms,
I think your tank has not fully cycled yet.
If they have not gotten a darker color or showing stress bars then they are not to stressed out.
It maybe they are still adjusting to your tank as well.

If they are wild you will need to use more RO water.

I was gonna go with uncycled or not established and stocked to quickly....as well as new surroundings.

they are not wild discus and the tank is cycled i put water from the other tank into this so i could start the bacteria growth i have done that with every tank i have ever had like i said the nitrates nitrites and ammonia are all sitting at zero
