    came home Friday to this, thought it was food at first but didnt change on Saturday!






    Iam going to let her hold full term and we will see what happens.

          I would in 2 weeks remove her into her own tank where she can be comfortable and spit in there...  Raul had like 40-50 fry come from one mom by doing that and they are doing well

            these are WC fish and I would prefer to let her hold full term and let nature take its course. If I remove her she may spit or eat the fry.

                  I am with you on this cesar!

                  They are wilds and in the wild there isn't a goof digging his hands in there to single out females! They have to breed somehow in the lake and stripping or pulling females is probably not how!

                        no she swallowed them on day 4, I was pretty bummed out. Hopefully she will learn to hold, I did a big water change last night and Iam going to power feed them tonight. We will see if any tubes drop.

                          With 3 holds and no babies in the tank I decided to pull this female on day 24. Ended up with 18 little ones out of a 4" female. All their egg sacs were dissolved, it was a matter of time before she spit them out. Ill post pictures tonight.
