If i said dwarf grass, the democrats would cry Discrimination. Theyd make me get both dwarf grass and tall grass, and several sizes inbetween. Then you cant have green plants without the red... Then theyd make me buy plants for everyone else, cause some people just cant afford their cigarettes and aquatic plants.

Brown, Fish Gallery gets it from time to time.  If you talk to the younger guys in the FW department, sometimes they will call you and let you know the day it comes in.  Other than that, I havnt seen it for sale anywhere else

I would DEF not consider E. Acicularis a fast grower at all.  I have 18.5 watt/gallon on my tank, pressurized co2, ada substrate, and ada ferts and it took quite some time to grow in.  It also requires a lot of attention.  Not quite as much as HC but still about 6 months to grow 1 square foot of it.

I agree.....I had E.parvulus with stupid high light and all the bells and whistles and it still took some time.

Maybe in my little 5g with the metal halide it will grow pretty fast but still nothing to the effect of a whole patch and definitely not as fast as some would think.

Anything similar that might grow faster. I really like the grassy look and the fact it only grows to 4-6".
