  • Forum Noob...

Hi, my name is Alex im 17 and am from Baytown. Ive been into fish for about 4 years now or so... As of now i have 2 tanks set up, one is a 10G in which i currently have guppies in, but it is gonna be converted into a shirmp tank just as soon as my LFS gets my cherries and bumblebees in. I also have a 55G aggressive tank, i keep a few chiclids in there right now along with some others... I havent really focused on my 55G due to the loss of my 2 favorite fishes(Tiger Datniod & African Spotted Brown Knife). :(

Ive tooken some time to look around the froums and it looks like i have another forum to visit on a daily basis.

                    Welcome to the box!

Fish Gallery on Kirby and 59 just got in a ton of cherry shrimp but they're crazy-expensive. 3 for $9. They also have nearly adult-size amano shrimp for I think $3.49 which is a slight price hike. They used to carry low to medium grade crystal reds for $7, tigers for $5 and giant filter shrimp for $17 but have been out for a while. Fish Ranch had some smaller amanos pretty cheap.

If you're interested in shrimp and want to come up to Spring, I got tons!

Fish Gallery is expensive, but they have a killer plant selection and big fish for big money. I always enjoy my trips to Fish Ranch.

So far I'm breeding ghost, cherries, all Grades C-S+ crystal reds, black bee, and I only have two tigers, but one of them looks like its about to berry. I also have amanos, vampire shrimp and bamboo shrimp but I think those are pretty rare to breed in aquariums due to the complicated life cycle involving brackish water and what not.
