So now I'm on the hunt for a tank that will hold the other two colonies and the monster loaches!

That's just terrible.  I can solve your problems real simple.  Just send your address and I'll show up with a truck tomorrow and load up all your tanks, fishies and aquatic paraphenalia and then simply drive away.  

You can stand in the doorway and wave bye-bye to your addictive, money-gobbling, obsessive habit.

I want to say I support you Delock, now go and see if you can get someone to build you a 120 x 30 x 30 tank (465g) (full of water = 3900 lbs)  .. this would be good for your other colonies and it would be just one more tank... and where to put it you ask.. no need to worry.. You have seen pictures of imaguygeek and girl their 8ft.. I know you have a 10ft wall somewhere....

So, you need a tank to fit 38 Chipimbi and 35 Ulwile's...

I would get a 180 gallon reef ready or a non-reef ready with a 2262 and a 2217.

I just remembered there is a 210 with canopy, stand, and lights for like $1300 that would be pretty nice.

So you want a tank bigger than 6ft or one that is shorter than 6ft?

If you go with a 48" x 24" x 30" 140 gallon, I think you would need to run a wetdry or atleast a Eheim 2262 or 2260 to put the 70 Tropheus in there.

I probably would not go past 50, but that's me.

Maybe a custom 48" x 30" x 30" would be NICE!! or 48" x 24" x 36"

I do have my 115 5ft x 2ft x 2ft that I think could do about 40-50

All Glass makes a 120 gallon (48x24x24)

Perfecto makes a 150 Extra High (48x24x30)

Oceanic makes a 144 Half Circle (57-1/2"x29x29)
