  • Where can I find Baby Brine Shrimp Eggs

I've called 249 fish, petco, petsmart and aquaticworld on jones rd.  Anybody no on the northside/Willowbrook area where I can find some BBS eggs to start a hatchery?

City Pets Beechnut and Beltway-8 have them for sure.  They are sold in a silver tube with a black cap on them.  I do not know if they are encapsulated or not.

You could try to contact Mike @ Mike's Tropical Fish and pets and see if he carries them.  He is located near where you are at

Petco and Petsmart should sell them in little tubes for $3-4.

Are they going to be for your angels? If so they wont need them till about 5-7 days after they hatch.

yes for the angels and convicts.  If I don't need them for a few days then I can pick some up tomorrow while I'm out.  Got a few choices now.  Thanks

            cberry,

All the convicts when hatched and their egg yolk sac was finished out ate crushed up flake like it was going out of style.   I crushed it until it was a fine powder, and then used a baby syringe (10ml)  (the one you get at walmart for $2 to give your baby medications), and just fired a load over the fry... within a few days the convict parents will not attack the syringe each time it comes down.. they figure it out pretty quick.

            Just my 2c worth

'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'
