I have a Bolivian pair that spawn like rabbits in a community tank. The parents are extremely watchful and protective and keep everything away (Angels, checkerboard cichlids, apistos, cory's and tetras).
However, once they get older and bolder, the wigglers begin to explore on their own and get picked off.
I'm not so concerned about the babies as I am the parents. Do they need to have their babies grow or does it not matter to them? I'm thinking the latter as this is their 4th batch in 1 1/2 months.
