  • African eels

    just wanted to see if anyone knew anything about them, own one or know where to get one. its a native of the african lakes and looks freaking cool!

    i know that RonR has one and his pictures is what sparked my intrest in the eel.

    here are some links i found about the A.elipsifer and A.plagiostoma, not sure whats the difference in them now.

              supposedly daves rare fish out in new braunfels usually has them and thats were RonR. got his. im waiting to hear back from them. i contacted Ty with TNT who will be shipping my trophs and he has yet to see any on his list.

                I was at Aquarium World last week and I don't recall seeing any there.  It's possible I could have missed it though.

                  Dave's rare fish in san antonio, he moved it from NB to SA, has good eels, and he is a good guy. He sold me my Dwarf Alto. Comp. s and they are awesome.

                          I think so, and it was towards the front of the aisle. It snuck out of a rock.

                          BTW - did I see you and your fiance coming out of Village last Sunday around 4pm? It looked like you but I only saw you as you were walking away.

                            i had to pick up my glass top and replacement bulb    she wanted to accompany me so that i wouldnt buy anything.

                              ek, i'll keep my eyes peeled for you.  the leopard ones are the most exotic.
                              180g Oceanic w/colony of 8 WC Moba Fronts (1m/7f) purchased from TNT Cichlids in Jan '05 & numerous fry. 1 F1 adult moba male. 2 2217 Eheims, 2 6080 Tunze Streams, WISA airpump, single stage Johnson ETC.....fishkeeping since 1988.
