View Full Version : De-Bug Mode?
11-29-2006, 01:25 PM
I should have stayed on the screen for a bit longer, since I can't remember exactly what it said, but every post I've submitted today has given me that message, instead of the "your post has been submitted" one. Something about an error, de-bug mode, something. And it usually automatically takes me back to the topic, but it hasn't today. So when I go back to the forums, it shows that a new post has been made (red or blinking icon) but it's my post...Does that make sense? Anyone else having this happen?

I don't see the problem. If someone can catch the specific error, that might help. If it says something about "smtp", that just means it didn't send out the notification email to those subscribed to the topic. Not sure if that was the problem.

I've seen this error before.....a while back. Â*I would just retry and it would work.

I just got the error when posting my repy on this topic.
Here is a copy of what it said. Â*The msg went through anyways.
Could not connect to smtp host : 111 : Connection refused
Line : 114
File : smtp.php

Well, this is strange. So far I've made two posts this morning...the first one had the debug mode message, the second one went through normally. Â*:?

i got the same problem this morning

Yeah, our host must be having an email problem. This doesn't affect your posting. It's just telling you that a notification email isn't being sent out to anyone that is subscribed to the topic. You may not want to rely on an email for topics that you're watching for now.

I just got the same exact message as rrocket did. BUT the post did go through.
I also found out I had a private message but never got an email notification.
