Hi all. Me and my Gf will be coming down to Houston for FOTAS convention. Was wondering if there were any other cheaper hotels close to there. They want $79 per nite at the hotel where it is being held. anything like motel 6 ,Clarion ,best western, ect  I am thinking we will go that route and commute. Or if a fellow hobbiest has an extra bed and is willing to have a couple guests for the weekend we will be staying for the whole weekend probly leaving sun nite after auction. I will be bringing some fish to enter in the show and for the auction also my GF too.

I wish i could help, there are hotels around me cheaper. I live in 1960/290 area, only 10 mins. away. try around here. closer to the airport the more expensive.
