CliffsNotes are study guides providing summaries, commentary, and ideas for further exploration.  Originally, they focused on literature but have since expanded to cover many other areas of academic pursuit.

Re: Illegal Fish, Shellfish, and Aquatic Plants in Texas

Jose - What do you mean by "illegal?" I know that most (or all) are considered invasive. Is it also illegal to keep these? I know I could probably just go to the TPWD's site, but I think it's a good discussion.    I basically started the hobby in Florida, and the Southern states I think are the most dangerous because of the sheer amount of tropicals that can be sustained in the local waters. When visiting my brother in Pittsburgh over the summer, I went to a(n) LFS which had piranhas for sale, which was a first for me.  But, it seems if something wants to survive, it will. Just a couple thoughts. Thanks for posting the list!

                        Penaeid Shrimp, Family Penaeidae ?

isn't this what grows wild in our bayous & Bays ?
'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'
