Hi folks, within the next couple of weeks I'm going to be implementing a member map upgrade. It allows you not only to see users' locations(if they choose to add themselves), but you'll also be able to suggest points of interest. I'm very excited about it! :violin:   :violin: artyman: :emtthumbs:

Sounds great! I don't know if this is possible right now (if it is I haven't figured out how to do it), but is there a way to add a "location" section to a member's profile? That way you can be directed to their location straight from their profile?"Millennium hand and shrimp!"

hmmm... no, not possible right now, but that might be something I can do later on. In this new version, there will be a drop-down menu with users in alphabetic order from which you can choose a user and click search. That will take you to the person, instead of having to click on every marker until you find the one you're looking for.

I've run into some problems. You can view the map fine, but if you're using Internet Explorer, it takes a loooong time to load. However, if you're using FireFox or similar, it loads quickly. I'm going to go ahead and release it tonight anyway, because I think it's just too good to wait. I'll just have to keep working toward making it work faster in IE.
