  • WTB Filter/Heater/Crushed Coral/Holey Rock

I'm setting up a Brichardi only tank from scratch. 42 gallon hex.

    I need:

Either a nice HOB filter (One with a biowheel), or a canister filter

    Titanium heater

One LARGE piece of Texas holey rock to use as the center piece

50 lbs of crushed coral for substrate

    Thanks in advance.

        it's a store off veteran's memorial/BW8

they had some nice tall pieces that looked like they would fit nicely in a hex when I was there on Sunday

I have about 40 lbs. live sand that was in a salt tank that would work fine if you rinsed it. I posted it on marsh for $15. It is a fine grade aragonite sand with some larger bits mixed in. Let me know if your interested.

a friend of mine is setting up a hex for brichardi's as well and what he did was get a bunch of smaller sized holey rocks about the size of a football and built up from there, offered hiding places for the adults as well as lots of holes for the fry.
