  • Getting driftwood to sink

I have heard a few different things about how to make driftwood sink, i have soaked it for 2 weeks (nuthin it seems close but wont drop) so now i am boiling it, how long would anyone say to boil the wood. i have heard for several hours home many and if it wont sink how would you attack it to say a piece of slate to slide into the substrate to hold it down.

You will need a mason drill bit. Drill a hole larger then the screw you are going to use. After the hole screw the screw into the wood.
