    Experience is what you get,
when you don't get what you want.
'Dear Lord,' the minister began, with arms extended toward heaven and a rapturous look on his upturned face. 'Without you, we are but dust ...'
He would have continued but at that moment my very obedient daughter who was listening leaned over to me and asked quite audibly in her shrill little four-year old girl voice, 'Mom, what is butt dust?'

An old guy once said he would like to be my age and have his knowledge. I told him I was happy to be my age and and have my knowledge. He called me a smart something or other and we both laughed. You have plenty of time to catch up. Enjoy the journey. Its not about the destination. Welcome to Houston Fish Box.

Welcome to the Houston Fish Box mynameiscandace. We have some turtle addicts here at he HFB. You ought to start a turtle topic in the lounge. I use to have a box turtle coral but they dug a tunnel and escaped. Obviously I don't know much about it. My other half's sisters boyfriend is into red sliders but he has not come onboard yet. Maybe turtlehoncho will see this. I hope I remembered the name right. O yeah I think there are some people who know about fish too.

              Re: hey there everyone!

I saw 3 or 4 red ear turtles in Moses Bayou earlier this week.
They were about dinner plate size.
I wonder if my Dad still has a Turtle recipe ?
